An established South African industrial group operating within the manufacturing sector is looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Buyer to take responsibility for procurement and stores activities across multiple Gauteng sites.
This is a hands-on senior buying role suited to someone who enjoys being operationally involved while also supervising and supporting a small procurement and stores team. The successful candidate will have strong commercial judgement, proven supplier negotiation ability and a solid track record of delivering measurable cost savings.
Preferred Background
- Candidates with experience in the automotive sector will be particularly relevant due to the strong cost-saving, supplier negotiation and engineering procurement focus of the role.
- Candidates from other engineering, industrial or manufacturing environments will also be considered.

The position reports to the National Procurement Manager and will oversee:
- Junior Procurement Buyer
- Stores Manager
- Three Store Assistants
